The idea of TPR kind of started as a joke - with so many hardcore running clubs and serious sponsors, we started riffing on an idea of a pizza challenge and went from there. (Really, we just really liked the idea of pizza slice patches and thought this was a good excuse to get some made!)

I started running 5 years ago after losing weight and wanting to keep it off. Pizza has always been my go to pre-marathon food and it's never let me down. I ate a salad once pre-marathon and ran my worst time ever. This can only mean that pizza is magical and I shall eat it for every race I run.
PEP THE PENGUIN
Pep emerged from an egg next to a pizza parlor near Phillip Island in Australia. Incubated by the nearby warmth of a pizza hearth, Pep has a natural affinity towards pizza. Already a superb swimmer, Pep picked up running so he can explore all corners of the Earth.
